SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:


On 6/11/14, at approximately 0650 hours, Troopers Cote, Sullivan, and DeGroot along with Sergeant Zabarsky responded to a reported Domestic Assault in Buckfield. The complainant told Troopers that she had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend Marcus Valencia 3/4/82 of Turner while driving her vehicle on Rt. 117 in Buckfield. She pulled in to the Buckfield Mall County Store where the suspect fled on foot into the woods. Trooper Fillebrown arrived on scene to conduct a K-9 track of the suspect. Trooper Fillebrown, Sullivan and K-9 Aros tracked the suspect through the woods for over an hour. The suspect was located on the bank of a stream and was taken into custody. The suspect has been charged with Domestic Violence Assault and Domestic Violence Criminal Mischief. Valencia was also charged with violation of conditions of release (bail) for a previous OUI charge.
