SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:


On June 11, 2014 at approximately midnight, Trooper Bell of Troop F investigated a car crash involving a moose. Jonathan Malone was driving his 2013 Dodge Dart southbound on Route 2A in TA R2 WELS when he struck a cow moose. The moose did minimal damage to the front of the vehicle, but significantly damaged the roof. Malone escaped serious injury, but did suffer minor injuries to his forehead. Malone refused medical treatment and had family transport him to the hospital.
