K-9 Team locates fugitive - Merrill

TOWN, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Merrill / Stacyville

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 7-15-14 a camp owner of Merrill reported to the State Police that he thought Lawlor and a female were in his camp on the Clark Rd in Merrill. Troopers arrived at the scene along with the Warden Service, MDEA and the Sheriffs Office. State Police Sgt. Chad Fuller and K-9 'Gleni' tracked from the camp where it was reported Lawlor was located, to another camp about ¾ of a mile away through the woods. When the second camp was searched, Lawlor and Tremblay were both found hiding and were arrested without incident. A firearm was located and seized upon the arrest. Lawlor was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Both Lawlor and Tremblay were charged with Burglary (Class A), Theft (Class E) and Criminal Trespass (Class D).
