SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07-19-14 Maine State Troopers and Game Wardens responded to a wooded area in Wallagrass for a report of a party involving minors. After searching the area, the Troopers and Wardens located the party in a gravel pit with several minors that had been consuming alcohol. 18 minors were charged with possession of alcohol by consumption and one minor was charged with a zero tolerance driving violation. The parents of the minors were called and notified of the incident. Investigation into the incident continues and anyone with information can contact the Maine State Police. The Maine State Police would like to remind citizens that anonymous tips of underage drinking events such as this can be made by calling the State Police Barracks in Houlton at 207-532-5400 or your local police department.
