Fatal MV Crash - Salem TWP

State Police say a Farmington man was killed this morning when his car slammed into a tree in Salem Township. Troopers said 48 year old Thomas Poulin died at the scene. The crash took place on Route 142 between Phillips and Kingfield about 6:30 am.
 

Trooper Reid Bond said Poulin’s 2005 Subaru Outback was traveling toward Kingfield when he lost control on a curve and the car struck the tree. Both the Morning Sentinel and the Sun Journal have confirmed that Poulin delivered newspapers for both news organizations. Reid said that Poulin was near the end of his route.


The crash took place near 2334 Salem Road and troopers were assisted at the scene by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
