SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On March 24, 2015, at approximately 1057 hours, Tr. Dennis Quint responded to a single vehicle crash on the Chapman Rd in Chapman.

Tr. Quint determined that Dillon J. Hadfield (21 yoa from Chapman) was driving east on the Chapman Road, Chapman, in his white 2003 GMC pickup. Dillon came to an area of the roadway that had some snow and slush. When he struck the snow/slush the vehicle lost traction causing him to start turning to the left. As the tires left the roadway the vehicle rolled twice and came to rest on its roof. Dillon, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was able to crawl out of the passenger side window.

Dillon was transported to The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle by Crown Ambulance as a precaution and was treated and released. The Presque Isle Fire Department was on scene due to fuel leaking from the vehicle as a result of the crash.
