SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 04-09-15 Emera of Maine reported damage to one of their telephone poles at the intersection of the Cleveland Rd and Guerrette Rd in St. Agatha.  Sometime recently someone had cut a notch out of a telephone pole with a chainsaw in an apparent attempt to have the pole fall over at a later time.  It is unknown when the damage occurred but it appears in may have been recently.  The damage was noticed before the pole fell over and Emera replaced the pole without any disruption to service in the area.   The Maine State Police is looking for any information on the crime such as a suspicious vehicle or person in the area or witnesses to the incident.   If you have any information please contact Tr. Corey Hafford at the Maine State Police Barracks in Houlton, 532-5400
