SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On Saturday February 8, 2014 at approximately 6:44 AM, State Police were called to a crash on the Benedicta Rd in Sherman.  The investigation revealed 18 year old Nichole Goguen of Houlton was operating a 2004 Ford truck, registered to her parents, and traveling South on the Benedicta Rd.  The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole breaking the pole and requiring the assistance of the power company.  Also in the vehicle was 24 year old Cody McNally of Stacyville and 18 year old Breanne Briggs of Houlton.  All three were wearing seatbelts and sustained minor injuries, but the truck was totaled.  The cause of the crash appears to be alcohol related and a subsequent investigation led to 24 year old Cameron McNally of Stacyville being charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
