SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

At approximately 3:30 PM State Trooper Christopher Hashey of Troop E was dispatched to a single vehicle personal injury motor vehicle crash on I-95 in Hermon. Investigation revealed 31 year old Myndie Davis of Old Town had been operating her 2000 Ford Focus in the left lane.  Davis drifted off towards the center median and then over-corrected causing the vehicle to cross both lanes, leave the road striking a rock ledge and rolling over before coming to rest.

Davis had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported by ambulance to Eastern Maine Medical Center with serious injuries. Her 3 year old son was also in the vehicle and was not injured in the crash.
