SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 2-4-14 at approximately 1815 hrs Tr. Jacob Ferland and Sgt Chad Fuller responded to Rt 11 in T8R5 for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Bernard Michaud, age 66 of Cumberland ME was northbound on Rt 11. Michaud was operating a 2008 Ford Focus when he fell asleep and lost control, driving off the roadway and rolling the vehicle over on its roof. Michaud was wearing his seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was not transported by an ambulance. The vehicle sustained significant damage. Michaud was trapped in the vehicle for a short time. Ashland and Masardis first responders assisted at the scene as well as Ashland PD.
