SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 04-10 Tr. Andrew Levesque responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Rt 1 at the Fort Kent/Frenchville town line.  Marcel Cyr, age 57 of St. Agatha was northbound on Rt 1 and struck a frost heave in the roadway.  Cyr’s pickup, a 2003 Ford, has a plow on the front and upon striking the frost heave, the plow struck the ground and causing Cyr to lose control and go off the side of the road.  Cyr was transported to Northern Maine Medical Center by Fort Kent Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
