SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

Sergeant Jeffrey Ingemi, Trooper Chad Lindsey, Trooper Chris Smith and K9 Winger responded to the North Lubec Road in Lubec to conduct a track for a female and her 2 juvenile sons who fled from the Maine Warden Service. The female was identified as Leanne Lacombe, 30, formally of Aroostook County who was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for probation revocation. Winger tracked Leanne along with her 2 juvenile sons for approximately 2 miles through rugged coastline terrain. As Winger caught up to on Leanne, Trooper Smith could hear breaking branches and voices through the thick woods ahead. Trooper Smith identified himself and gave Leanne a warning to stop and turn herself in. Within 10 minutes Leanne and 1 of her sons exited the woods and obtained a ride for the short distance back to Sergeant Jeffrey Ingemi’s location on the North Lubec Road. Leanne was taken into custody by Sergeant Jeffrey Ingemi. Other charges might be pending by the Warden Service.
